Starck Network Agency is looking for a junior interior designer, furniture and styling specialist to join its team in Paris, France.
Position and duties
You will be responsible for interior design: selection of furniture and lighting (FF&E), fabrics, wallpapers, as well as the various objects and accessories involved in creating a decorative ensemble according to Mr Starck’s brief.
As project manager, you’ll be involved in the project’s smooth running, from the sketch phase (iconographic research, material and fabric research, customer presentations), through development (FF&E listing, site visits, coordination with contractors, custom furniture drawings
and plan validations) to project completion (accessory purchasing, installation and styling).
Requirements:
- you must have a very good knowledge of furniture publishers and fabric manufacturers, and be able to liaise with these suppliers
- you must also have a good grasp of color and graphic skills to develop customized rugs and patterns
- you’ll be required to travel to various worksites abroad and visit furniture fairs to maintain a database and feed your creativity
- you have successful experience in furniture design and are familiar with space planning
- you have a perfect command of the Adobe In Design Suite and Pack Office, and knowledge of AutoCAD is a real asset
- fluent English imperative
