Ten Eyck Landscape Architects (TELA) is recruiting a landscape designer or architect to join its team in Austin, USA.
Ten Eyck Landscape Architects, Inc. (TELA) is an energetic firm recognized throughout the southwest US for innovative design. Our mission is to create regional, resilient landscapes that connect the urban dweller to nature and each other. We work on a range of project types including college campuses, hospitality, botanical gardens, public parks, historic re-use, ranches and residences.
TELA is currently seeking landscape designers/architects with one to seven years of experience to join our Austin-based team. The ideal candidate will be ready to hit the ground running, is passionate about our profession, responsible and enjoys collaboration.

Minimum requirements:
- degree in landscape architecture
- one to seven years’ professional experience at a landscape architecture/architecture firm
- demonstrated design and graphic ability
- knowledge of grading, construction materials and detailing
- experience with 3D modelling programs
- experience producing contract documents for construction
- ability to organize and direct work assignments
- experience producing illustrative diagrams and perspective renderings
- excellent time management, organizational and communication skills
- proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, MS Office and other graphics software
Additional skills:
- Revit, Rhino, Lumion, LandFX
- urban design experience
- specification writing
- construction administration skills
- experience in proposal preparation and marketing
