The Boundary is looking for a junior visualisation artist to join its London office.

Position: Full time junior visualisation artist

Location: Camden Town, London

Salary: £20,000-£30,000

Founded in 2014 by Peter Guthrie and Henry Goss, The Boundary has rapidly gained an international reputation for excellence in the visual representation of architecture and the built environment. Working with a number of the world’s top architects and designers including seven Pritzker Architecture Prize laureates; Richard Rogers, Tadao Ando, Renzo Piano, Richard Meier, Herzog & de Meuron, Álvaro Siza, and Peter Zumthor.

The Boundary has completed over one hundred major projects in the past four years comprising many thousands of images, animations and virtual reality tours.

The role:

We are seeking to recruit a junior talented and enthusiastic visualisation artist to join our team in London. Ideal candidates will have the ability to produce internal and external CGIs from scratch and a clear understanding of the basics of modelling, lighting and composition. A passion for architecture, design and photography is desirable. You will also demonstrate a desire to explore and test new technologies and techniques and to share these with The Boundary team as well as a desire to learn from others.

Skills and qualifications:

  • some experience of the main tools of the trade including 3ds Max and Corona Renderer
  • experience of Premiere and After Effects would be useful but not essential
  • keen to learn and contribute to the wider team
  • clear communication skills, good verbal and written English
  • should have a general interest in architectural visualisation, architecture or interior design
  • education in architectural visualisation, architecture, interior design or a similar discipline desirable
