Interior design lead
There is a relocation opportunity for an interior design lead to join Visualhouse in Los Angeles.

Visualhouse is an international creative agency focused on creating compelling brand stories for architecture, design, and the built environment. We work worldwide with leading architects, developers and designers on landmark projects. Each project is unique, and to each we bring passion and expertise with our multidisciplinary creative teams skilled in 3D visualisation, still imagery, film and animation, as well as branding and interactive. Together, these disciplines form a cohesive and creative vision to produce compelling brand narratives for our clients. We have studios in New York, London, and Los Angeles.
About the role:
We are able to offer relocation from the UK to LA for the right candidate. All candidates must be eligible to either work in the US or be UK passport holders. This is a rare opportunity to lead the interior design on some of the most exclusive and high-end venues Los Angeles has to offer.
We are currently looking for an interior design lead to join our growing Los Angeles team to lead on the interior design of a range of hospitality venues. This exciting new role will lead the new in-house team and create concepts for brand conscious clients of luxury members clubs, restaurants, workspaces and hotels. The ideal candidate will be a naturally confident leader with over five years professional experience in designing and delivering high-quality interior design. Experience of client management and producing creative solutions is essential and you will work closely with the CEO to execute bespoke schemes.
Technical skills:
- space planning, FFE, materials; typical building regulations which relate to interior construction
- exceptional 2D and 3D CAD graphics skills using AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar software
- preparation of concept, technical and tender drawing packages
- coordination with suppliers and external design teams
- production of schedules for building, electrical and bespoke joinery packages
Skills and qualifications:
- degree in interior design, interior architecture or related subject
- clear communication and creative problem-solving ability
- experience in managing internal teams and client relationships
- strong interest in mentoring and developing team members
