We are an award-winning architectural and project management studio specialising in high-end residential projects. From concept to completion, we deliver exceptional results for discerning clients. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work and turnover up more than 90 per cent year-on-year, we are seeking a highly organised and commercially-minded Procurement Manager to support the studio at this pivotal time in our growth.
About you
You are detail-driven, dependable and thrive under pressure. With experience managing procurement across complex design or build projects, you bring a methodical and proactive approach to ordering, supplier coordination, and tracking deliveries. You are confident communicating with suppliers, clients and internal teams, and you take pride in ensuring projects run smoothly behind the scenes.
You are just as comfortable negotiating trade terms as you are resolving delivery issues or helping designers re-specify an out-of-stock item. Calm, unflappable and fast on your feet, you play a vital role in helping our team deliver beautiful work on time and to budget.
Key responsibilities:
- manage procurement and delivery of all FF&E and finishes across multiple projects
- manage junior members of the team, inclusive of capacity planning and workloads
- liaise with suppliers, place orders and monitor production and shipping status
- track orders, receipts, invoices, and credit notes with accuracy
- maintain and update project schedules and procurement trackers
- collaborate with design and site teams to flag lead time risks and suggest alternatives
- oversee delivery inspections and coordinate replacements for any breakages or shortages
- build and maintain strong trade relationships, negotiating favourable terms
- ensure all procurement documentation is well-organised and up-to-date
- support project close-out by verifying all invoices have been processed and ensuring any outstanding refunds or credits are collected
Required qualifications and skills:
- minimum five years’ experience in a procurement, buying, or FF&E role (ideally in residential design or construction)
- exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- excellent verbal and written communication
- confident handling multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
- strong commercial acumen and supplier negotiation experience
- comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Why join us?
- competitive salary based on experience
- hybrid working: three days in-studio, two days remote
- 25 days of annual holiday plus all bank holidays, and office closure over the Christmas break
- discretionary annual bonus
- design-led studio with ambitious plans for growth
- be part of a talented and friendly team where your contribution really counts
