As a Part 2 assistant at beyond design, you will play a key supporting role in managing projects from concept through to delivery. We value strong design skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- collaborate with the in-house design team to develop proposals and prepare reports for reviews and client meetings
- assist with and document communications between clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- prepare technical design packages and specifications for coordination and construction, maintaining high standards of quality control and project management
- identify and resolve technical issues relating to local regulations and industry practices
Requirements:
- excellent spoken and written English; must be eligible to work in the UK
- recognised Part 2 certificate
- proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, Microsoft Office and SketchUp (essential)
- strong design sensibility and technical expertise in design and construction
- in-depth knowledge of UK planning legislation and building regulations
- clear and effective communication and presentation skills
- highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- graphic and rendering skills (advantageous)
