Beaufort Architectes & Designers is seeking a senior interior architect to join its Paris-based studio.
At Beaufort, we design bespoke interiors and spaces where craftsmanship meets cutting-edge engineering. With origins in sailing, naval architecture, and design, our multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and designers delivers high-end, technically sophisticated projects. Recent works include ArtExplorer, the world’s largest sailing catamaran (Multihull of the Year award, Boat International), a deep-sea research vessel, a 60-foot wooden ketch, and numerous other bespoke projects.
Your role:
- lead interior projects from concept through construction, developing innovative, functional, and technically precise solutions
- produce detailed plans, sections, elevations, and construction documentation for interiors, bespoke furniture, and objects
- produce 3D models of interior space and detail 3D for custum furniture fabriction
- specify materials, finishes, lighting, and fixtures, balancing aesthetics and technical feasibility
- coordinate closely with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure designs are buildable and executed to the highest quality
- oversee installation and supervise projects on site as needed
- mentor junior designers and contribute to the studio’s design standards and workflow
Your profile:
- degree in interior architecture or architecture
- minimum five years of senior experience managing diverse, high-end projects with multidisciplinary teams
- strong aesthetic sensibility and in-depth knowledge of materials, furniture, and interior systems
- proven ability to bridge creative vision with technical implementation, understanding structural, mechanical, and regulatory constraints
- highly organized, proactive, and meticulous in detailing
- proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite, 3D modeling (Rhino 3D or equivalent), in Excel (3D visualisation skills are a plus but not required)
