Architect
at Lawson Ward Studio
Lawson Ward Studio is seeking an architect to join its team in London.
Lawson Ward Studio is a London-based architecture and design studio. Established by Hannah Lawson and Georgina Ward in 2020, the studio has experience across a wide range of project types, creating places to live, work and learn. Often our work involves the reinvention of existing buildings or places – through careful remodelling or bold interventions – and we commonly work with community-led clients. We have recently completed the Roden Centre for Creative Learning at the National Gallery, and continue to work on a number of exciting cultural, educational, and residential projects.
We are looking for a talented and motivated architect to join our small, friendly team. The role will involve taking responsibility across multiple RIBA stages, with a particular focus on the later stages of design and delivery. You will be working on a significant cultural project based in London.

- confidence in producing and coordinating technical packages
- knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes
- excellent working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
- a collaborative, proactive and organised approach to work

- excellent communication and team-working skills
- experience in exhibition design would be beneficial
The role offers:
- the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to thoughtful, socially-engaged projects
- experience across all project stages with increasing responsibility
- a supportive and creative working environment in East London
