Fathom Architects is hiring a senior architect to join its team in London.
Fathom Architects is seeking a talented, senior architect to join our team. If you’re excited by a challenging brief and motivated by architecture with a deep connection to place, you sound right up our street.
We are looking for a skilled all-rounder with a minimum of five years’ post-Part 3 experience, who can confidently manage a small team and liaise with clients/consultants.

Our portfolio includes workspace, interiors, residential, research and heritage, over a broad range of scales. Projects include new building and retrofit schemes.

About you
Key responsibilities:
- lead and manage projects with close support of our senior architectural team
- develop high-quality design concepts and presentations, demonstrating excellent communication skills
- complete work accurately and efficiently, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- mentor and support junior members of staff
- ability to attend industry events and promote Fathoms profile
Essential qualifications and experience:
- minimum five years’ of post-Part 3 professional experience. ARB registered architect
- comprehensive knowledge of all RIBA work stages, with strong understanding of construction stages including the required procedures/documentation
- clear and confident communicator with client-facing experience
- excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations
- proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe suite
- strong organisational and time-management skills, with experience leading project teams
- ability to work across multiple projects, prioritise and meet deadlines under pressure
- experience in commercial sectors required with experience in interiors also ideal
Full time role with a minimum four days in the studio.
