We seek a highly qualified Italian architect to join our esteemed team in London. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to unique and sophisticated projects, characterised by Italian design excellence, within a collaborative and professional environment.
Skills:
- previous experience working in a UK architectural practice
- previous experience with projects in Italy or with Italian clients
- familiarity with Italian planning and building regulations
- capacity to manage projects and deadlines effectively
- strong 2D and 3D skills including, Rhino and Revit
- deep understanding of technical coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to ensure fully integrated project documentation
Primary responsibilities:
- lead and oversee architectural projects inspired by the principles of Italian design, from conception through to completion
- advanced proficiency in architectural design software to be able to produce comprehensive drawings, plans, and technical specifications utilising industry-standard software (such as Revit and Rhino, etc.)
- collaborate effectively with clients, engineers, and contractors to deliver exemplary architectural outcomes
- previous experience in technical coordination with external consultants is essential
- ensure that all designs are compliant with local planning regulations and building codes
- provide creative input and technical expertise across a variety of commercial, and public sector projects
- attend site visits and participate in project meetings as required
Essential qualifications:
- degree in architecture or a closely related discipline
- fluency in both Italian and English, written and spoken
- proven expertise in Autodesk Revit, with the ability to lead complex BIM model development and maintain accuracy across project phases
- a robust portfolio demonstrating experience with Italian architectural styles and projects
- excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team
- meticulous attention to detail and a creative approach to resolving challenges
