Part 3 architect

Gravity Design Associates is seeking an architect to join its team in central London.
We are a multi-disciplinary design practice based in London Bridge.
With over 20 years industry experience, our project portfolio includes Passive new build, deep retrofit residential refurbishments, office to residential conversions and commercial office fit-outs.

We are looking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic Part 3 architect to join our growing team of architects, interior designers and lighting designers.
Essential qualifications and experience:
- minimum three years’ of post-Part 3 professional experience
- comprehensive knowledge of all RIBA Construction Stages, from Planning and concept design up to technical detailing, including on-site experience
- good understanding of UK Building Regulations
- experience in residential and commercial sectors, and passionate about existing building refurbishment/renovations
- interest in low-energy building and sustainable design
- capacity to work independently and to liaise with specialist design consultants with close support of our senior architectural team
- good organisation, confident communication skills and client-facing experience
- proficiency in AutoCAD, with any additional 3D modelling software being .
Key responsibilities:
- develop high-quality design concepts and presentations under senior management supervision
- complete work accurately and efficiently, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- oversee the construction process to ensure projects are built according to the design, collaborating with engineers, contractors and other consultants
- ensure projects meet all technical and regulatory standards and comply with Building codes and regulations.
