Leos Development is looking for a senior interior designer to join its team in Dubai, UAE.
Position overview
We are seeking a highly skilled senior interior designer to join our Dubai team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in luxury residential and commercial projects across international markets. You will lead the interior design process – from concept to delivery – while managing complex project requirements, guiding junior designers and ensuring the highest standards of design quality and execution.
Key responsibilities
Design leadership and project management
- lead full project lifecycle: concept creation, design development, detailed drawings, documentation, FF&E selection and on-site execution
- develop and present design concepts, mood boards, space plans and material palettes
- translate conceptual design into clear technical drawings and tender packages
- ensure timely and budget-aligned project delivery
Technical and site coordination:
- oversee site inspections to ensure accurate design implementation
- coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants and contractors
- review and approve shop drawings, samples and mock-ups
- resolve on-site design and construction issues
Team collaboration and development
- mentor junior and mid-level designers
- contribute to internal design workshops and best-practice sessions
Client and stakeholder communication:
- lead client meetings, presentations and reviews
- build strong relationships with suppliers and external partners
- support the design director in design vision alignment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in interior design, architecture or a related field
- over 10 years of experience with high-end residential and commercial projects
- proven experience leading construction and interior fit-out projects
- expertise in FF&E, joinery design, bespoke details and materials
- proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; Revit is a strong advantage
- strong creativity, technical accuracy and attention to detail
- excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills
- ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- fluency in English; Arabic is a plus
