Part 2 architectural assistant/architectural technologist

EK Planning is looking for a Part 2 qualified architectural assistant or architectural technologist with a minimum of two years’ experience to join its office in Kent, UK.
We are a small but fast-growing architectural studio, based in Kings Hill near West Malling, with our office both easily accessible by public transport and ample free parking on site.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on, varied role within a close-knit environment. Because of our size, you will work closely with senior staff but also be able to work with a good level of independence and have the chance to take real ownership of projects. We are looking for someone who is confident, proactive and hardworking.
Our projects are mostly residential conversions and extensions, or small new-build schemes throughout Kent, Surrey and the Southeast. As well as numerous single dwelling projects, we have new-build schemes ready to commence in Canterbury, Tunbridge Wells as well as some smaller scale commercial jobs throughout Greater London.
We can offer an excellent all-round experience from initial conceptual design, through to architectural detailing and technical drawings.
Basic requirements are:
- assist in developing projects from concept through to technical stages
- produce drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit
- good knowledge of general Building Regulations
- produce technical information, schedules, and details with minimal supervision
- support senior staff in coordinating with consultants, clients, and local authorities
- sontribute to design development, visuals, and presentations
- manage small packages of work independently, where appropriate
- good communication and organisational skills
- a positive, adaptable, and collaborative attitude.

Salary is competitive, negotiable and based on experience and portfolio.
