Design Storey is hiring an interior architect/interior designer in Oxford, UK.
Design Storey is an award-winning architecture and interiors studio, crafting homes and spaces that weave together heritage, place, and the stories of the people who live in them. Based in the heart of Oxford, we work throughout Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds, delivering projects that range from sensitive transformations of historic buildings to striking one-off houses as well as bespoke commercial interiors. We believe every project has a story to be told through design – this belief is the origin of our studio’s name & approach.
Recent interiors commissions, alongside our private high-end residential work, include a gym and wellness facility in an international capital as well as the interiors of a prestigious boutique hotel in the cotswolds. We enjoy taking our projects from the initial sketch design all the way through to completion, providing a fantastic opportunity to see the work realised in the flesh.
We are looking for enthusiastic and talented applicants with excellent creative design skills who can think rigorously, have a good eye for detail, and drive to support the team delivering these interesting projects.

What you’ll be Responsible for:
- design of interiors project often with complex technical requirements (hospitality/ gyms)
- managing information packages to a high standard
- delivery of the client brief and studio vision for the project
- delivery of high quality drawn and written output at all times
What we are looking for:
- proven track record delivering design-led interiors projects
- strong design and graphic skills
- well-organised and ability to manage and deliver complex projects
- have a keen eye for detail
- applicants will preferably have experience with BIM, ideally Archicad
- experienced in a range of software from adobe suite to 3d modelling packages
