Object Atelier is hiring a production manager to join its team in London, UK.

We are a young, fast-expanding joinery company seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our growing team. This is a key leadership role for a motivated and enthusiastic professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys helping shape systems and processes within a developing business.

The ideal candidate will have over three years’ experience in a similar role within a joinery or manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of workshop-based production.

Key Responsibilities

• manage and oversee the production of all projects through the workshop
• plan, coordinate, and control joinery projects to ensure efficiency and quality
• track upcoming projects in collaboration with the design team
• manage all drawings, cut lists, and production documentation throughout the workshop
• ensure projects are delivered on time, communicating timelines clearly with directors
• provide weekly progress reports to directors on production status and company performance
• lead daily production meetings with the workshop team
• drive the development and implementation of new operational systems and processes
• develop and improve production documentation, including delivery notes, sign-off sheets and workflows
• identify and resolve production issues efficiently and proactively
• maintain high standards of health and safety across the workshop

Skills and Experience

• extensive knowledge of woodworking and joinery manufacturing processes
• broad experience working with solid timber, sheet materials, veneers, and solid surfaces
• strong planning, organisational, and time-management skills
• excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• proven leadership ability within a workshop environment
• a proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset
• ability to work effectively in a small but rapidly growing company
• strong team player with a positive and motivated attitude
• extensive health and safety training and awareness
