Object Atelier is looking for a senior furniture maker to join its team in London, UK.
The candidate should have at least 5 years previous experience in a similar role. The candidate should be a highly motivated and enthusiastic person with a keen eye for detail and precision within their work.
Skills and experience
- experienced in running their own projects and leading a small team
- fully competent in reading technical drawings
- making cut lists, components, and hardware requirements for projects
- fully competent at using all furniture making machinery, power tools and hand tools
- delivering complex projects on time within the workshop and communicating with directors and project team on timings
- exceptional eye to detail
- fully competent at on site installations
- experienced in using a range of materials from solid wood, sheet material and solid surface
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work in a small but growing company
- great problem solver
- team player
- CSCS card holder
- previous health and safety training
As a small company we would also need the candidate to be happy to adapt to the different roles within the company. Furniture making is the heart of what we do and a close connection between the workshop and office is essential.
