The role
We are seeking a well-experienced, detail-oriented FF&E project manager to join the team in our Berlin studio. This position plays a key role in delivering a trusted, high-quality service to our clients and suits a candidate with a refined design sensibility and strong organisational and coordination skills.
Our ideal candidate has a strong industry background, experience working on hospitality projects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think and work quickly.
Responsibilities:
- coordinate FF&E project delivery across all phases, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and design intent
- develop, manage, and report on detailed FF&E and OS&E budgets, schedules, spec sheets, and BOQs
- source, sample, and specify FF&E items in collaboration with the design and curation team, while coordinating production and delivery timelines
- coordinate procurement processes and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and project partners
- prepare and present clear, compelling design and project communication to clients and stakeholders
- on site set-up oversee documentation, quality control and installation to ensure the intended execution and final handover to the client
- organizing and keeping the studios material library up to date
- travel may be required at certain times
Requirements:
- bachelor’s or master’s degree in Interior Design or a related field
- three to five years’ experience in the design industry
- capable of reading and interpreting architectural and detailed furniture drawings
- proficiency in on-site coordination
- strong communication skills with design network, trades, vendors and manufacturers
- knowledge of sourcing, lead times, contracting and procurement processes
- experience in producing specifications including bill of quantities
- excellent communication skills
- self-starter, innovative thinker, positive influencer
- advanced Excel skills
- proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, and Miro
- 2D drawing knowledge beneficial
- German language skills are not required
