Part 2 architectural assistant

Robert Dye Architects is seeking a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
Award-winning studio in Hampstead looking for experienced Part 2 architectural assistant to work on a variety of exciting non-commercial projects.
You should have more than one year post Part 2 experience and be able to take on a job-running function within our office. We’re looking for an imaginative, talented, highly-motivated assistant.
We specialise in private residential projects across London and beyond. You will work on multiple projects at all stages, gaining hands-on experience across different aspects of architectural practice. We will encourage you to achieve Part 3 with us as soon as possible.
We are looking for someone who:
- is on the path to achieve Part 3
- has the right to work in the UK
- highly CAD proficient, preferably Vectorworks
- design-led, curious and actively engaged in how buildings go together
- confident working within a small team and with external consultants
- well-organised, reliable and good communicator written & verbally
- comfortable taking responsibility
- interested in seeing projects through from idea to built form
Technical skills:
- written and spoken English skills essential
- proficiency in Vectorworks
- experience using Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- physical model-making
- knowing your way around a Mac would be a bonus
- you will score heavily for demonstrable experience detailing and/or site experience
