Part 3 qualified architect
at CHP Architecture
CHP Architecture is seeking a Part 3 qualified architect to join its team in Essex, UK.
We are seeking a new team member to support a small company growing at a fast pace. We need someone who is preferably Part 3 qualified but Part 2 will be considered if you can demonstrate experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Vectorworks software and system design, with the ability to contribute effectively to various projects across construction, graphic design, and system development. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical skills within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Duties:
- prepare CAD plans/elevations and preparing planning applications
- liaise with clients, planning offers
- most of the work base is domestic and based in and around Essex
- contribute to graphic design tasks related to project visualisation and client proposals
Qualifications:
- proficient in CAD – Vectorworks experience is not essential but would be useful. Applicant would need to be willing to learn vectorworks which is easy to learn
- familiarity with building regulations and planning process
- ability to problem solve
- can prepare/draft building control applications and planning applications
- qualification in architecture
- ability to use Microsoft office software
- can prepare design statements
- two years’ experience
- willing to work as a team and keen to learn
- willing to earn commission based on performance
- contribute to design tasks related to ongoing projects
£28,000 per year plus commission (negotiable subject to experience)
This is a PAYE position and therefore we cannot consider Freelance applications
