Architectural technician

Lowell Design is seeking a architectural technician to join its team in London.
Lowell is multi-disciplinary architectural and interiors studio with an in house build team based in Clerkenwell Green in central London delivering high end residential projects from concept through to completion.
We are busy and vibrant practice and have recently been nominated for the British Home Awards and the NLA Don’t Move Improve Awards.
The role
We are seeking a talented architectural technician to join our growing studio. The role involves producing high-quality technical drawings, coordinating with our in house build team and consultants, and supporting the delivery of complex, bespoke residential projects.
Responsibilities:
- produce detailed technical drawings, schedules and specifications
- coordinate on site with Lowell in house build team, consultants, contractors and suppliers throughout the design and construction process
- ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and best practice
- produce tender and construction documentation packages
- work closely with architects and interior designers to ensure seamless technical and aesthetic integration
- knowledge of planning policies with a proven track record of success within the various boroughs of London
Requirements:
- minimum three years’ UK experience in a similar role within residential architecture
- excellent knowledge of Vectorworks
- strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and technical detailing
- experience with working with a broad range of consultants and suppliers
- highly organised, with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- VectorWorks, Sketch-Up and Microsoft Office
