Stockwool is seeking a practice administrator to join its team in London.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable assistant to join our busy Practice in a varied administrative role. Supporting the Practice Manager with the day-to-day running of the practice, the role will encompass operations, marketing and the demands of a fast-paced and professional creative office. You should be able to remain calm in a pressurised environment.

With excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will have a professional, cheerful ‘can-do’ attitude and bags of common sense. You should have a proactive approach, an eye for detail and be digitally confident.

Your duties will be wide-ranging and will include:

  • supporting the practice manager with all aspects of administration, development and management of our office systems
  • manage our reception, including the switchboard, guests and meeting rooms
  • stock check, ordering and price reviews of office supplies, OS maps, etc.
  • first point of contact for office-related queries and maintenance, and coordination with office management and cleaning companies and suppliers
  • organise and log internal training – including CPD and Practice meetings
  • co-ordination of recruitment and induction processes
  • assisting with the purchase ledger and credit card reconciliation
  • coordination with and support to the external IT support company
  • data protection compliance
  • supporting with updating our social media channels and staff SharePoint ‘Homepage’ and associated sites
  • supporting with bid information and award submissions
  • supporting with presentations and internal documents
  • ensure our logo and brand identity is used correctly across all documents and platforms

You should have proficiency in Microsoft Office. A knowledge of Adobe creative suite and graphics experience is desirable and a creative background, experience working in a creative environment, or an interest in art, design, and Architecture is advantageous.

Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Ideally, you will have a minimum of a year in a similar role. We are open to applications from those wishing to work a minimum of three days per week, with potential for those with less experience working up to five days.
