Lowell Design is seeking an architect to join its team in London.
Lowell Design is seeking an architect with high-end residential experience, particularly around RIBA stages 4 to 5.
Lowell is a multi-disciplinary architectural and interiors studio with an in-house build team based in central London. We provide homeowners with a complete solution for their home renovations from concept through to completion. We are particularly experienced working on historical and listed buildings.
Lowell also has its own artisan build team that brings our designs to life, so this role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with the build team on all projects.
We are a busy and vibrant practice and have recently been nominated for the British Home Awards and the NLA Don’t Move Improve Awards.
We are looking for an exceptional and enthusiastic architect with:
- experience in high-end residential projects in London
- excellent technical skills with a focus on stages 4 and 5
- the ability to produce a full construction set of drawings
- passionate about design-focused projects and interiors
- excellent knowledge of planning policies with a proven track record of success within the various boroughs of London
- excellent project management skills, engaging in all parts of the project from start to completion of the build
- ability to liaise successfully with contractors (Lowell build team), engineers, consultants, local authorities, as well as clients
- excellent knowledge of building regulations
- excellent communication skills with a fluency in written and spoken English, and confident when client-facing
- VectorWorks, SketchUp, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
- the ideal candidate will bring the right blend of confidence, patience and management skills to complement our dynamic team
