Cartwright Pickard Architects is hiring architects to join its team in London and Manchester, UK.
We’re seeking exceptional architects with a minimum of two years’ post qualification experience to join our teams in London and Manchester.
At Cartwright Pickard, you’ll join an employee-owned practice where everyone has a stake in what we create. Our London and Manchester studios works across a diverse range of sectors and scales – from large-scale commercial and residential projects to heritage and urban design – and you’ll have the opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle, from early design thinking through to technical delivery.
The role
You’ll be a confident designer and technically proficient – someone who can hold both the big picture and the fine detail. You’ll contribute to a collaborative studio culture where ideas are shared openly and good work is recognised and celebrated.
Day to day, you’ll be working closely with project teams to deliver high-quality design and technical output. Strong Revit skills are essential – our current projects move quickly and we need someone who can hit the ground running.
Experience in any of the following would be an advantage: urban design or masterplanning, listed or heritage assets, or large-scale commercial or residential projects in the UK.
What we’re looking for:
- ARB-registered architect with a minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience
- excellent design sensibility and technical knowledge, including a good understanding of UK building regulations and standards
- strong Revit skills, with the ability to work confidently across both design and technical stages
- a clear communicator – visually, verbally, and in writing
- a collaborative team player who takes ownership
