Design Squared has an opportunity for a party wall surveyor to join its team in London.
At Design Squared we specialise in a range of residential and commercial developments for private clients. Our studio is based near London Bridge and we currently have a team of 14 full time employees. The services we offer to clients include architectural design, building regulation compliance packages, engineering, party wall surveying, project management and more. Our reputation has been built over the past 10 years and we have completed in excess of 600 projects.
We are seeking an in-house, client-facing party wall surveyor, to work closely with our design team on a wide variety of housing projects, from one-off bespoke houses to residential refurbishment, developments and commercial office spaces.
You will need strong experience to carry out all party wall matters for our broad spectrum of projects and will need a thorough understanding of all procedures under the Party Wall Act, as an integral part of the role will be to advise clients and property owners of their rights and obligations.
You will be involved in all aspects of the party wall process, from carrying out schedules of condition to drafting notices and completing awards. As a relatively small practice, we are looking for a team player who would like to utilise their knowledge and even gain more experience by getting involved with contract administration.
Strong knowledge of CAD would also be beneficial, but training can be provided for the right candidate.

Salary is competitive and dependent on experience.
