Mid-weight interior designer
at Air Design
Air Design is looking for a mid-weight interior designer to join its design practice in London, UK.

Who we are looking for…
A creative interior designer and visualiser, with excellent skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign.
Essential skills and experience
At least three years’ experience within at least one or more of the following sectors:
- retail
- shopping centres
- public realm
- residential
- hospitality
- leisure
- ability to understand and interpret client briefs
- ability to produce technical drawings at various levels of detail; from concept key plans, to profile and construction drawings
- knowledge of materials, interior coatings and construction methods
- ability to produce/assist with product and finishes schedules
- accuracy and attention to detail
Experience of working on and producing presentations for the following design stages:
- feasibility
- strategy
- concept design
- design development
- detailed design
- budget and project-management awareness
- experience of client liaison
- team player with strong written communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to take direction from head of interiors or work off own initiative as required
- excellent multi-tasking, organisational and planning skills
Desirable:
- experience of working on large-scale projects
- the ability to create high-quality renders/3D visuals (these are currently outsourced, but if you have the knowledge, let us know)
- knowledge of other 3D design software packages
