Gertler & Wente Architects is seeking an intermediate interior designer to join its firm in New York, USA.
We are seeking a multi-talented intermediate-level interior designer (approximately four+ years’) who is passionate about design and wants to be an integral part of all phases of the project; able to demonstrate design team leadership, organization and presentation skills. You should have great design insight into material, color, textures, furniture, etc. and also have very good space planning skills and knowledge of the modern and changing commercial workplace environment, and be able to create and effectively present idea boards and design concept to communicate concepts to clients.
Applicant should have strong SketchUp, Photoshop and other rendering skills for in-house team communication and clients. Working knowledge of AutoCAD is important to be part of design documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in interior design required and NCIDQ accreditation is helpful.
