Graphic Designer

Levitt Bernstein is an award winning, design-led architectural practice of 130 people with offices in London and Manchester.  We are looking for a confident and well organised middleweight Graphic Designer to lead on the production and coordination of promotional and project materials; support the marketing and business development functions and oversee the Junior Graphic Designer.

Key responsibilities

General

•       Maintain the brand, ensure correct application across all materials and brief staff accordingly

•       Oversee and manage the time, work and performance of the Junior Graphic Designer

•       Oversee all graphic output across the Practice and regularly review with Project Assistants

•       Take a proactive approach to finding work: attending studio meetings, updating workgroup at staff forums and advising when resource is available

•       Design and regularly update general promotional materials: reports, presentations, marketing materials, practice documents and stationery

•       Design bespoke materials for both promotional and project work

•       Artwork print and digital materials

•       Coordinate practice and project photoshoots

•       Manage the image library

•       Design, maintain and update front of house display and pin up areas in both offices

•       Research new design and production technologies: subscribing to journals and attending exhibitions as appropriate

•       Produce an annual paper for the executive board meeting outlining key graphics priorities and projects.

Skills

•       Advanced knowledge in the Adobe suite

•       Excellent presentation skills

•       Proactive, communicative and approachable

•       Organised, detailed orientated and able to meet deadlines efficiently

•       Ability to manage, motivate and nurture the Junior Graphic Designer.

Personal attributes

•       Relevant degree or postgraduate qualifications

•       Interest in and knowledge of architecture.
