Senior technical project architect

Makower Architects is seeking an experienced senior technical project architect to join its team in London to run a large-scale residential project.
Candidates must have 6-10 years of experience and have delivered multiple large scale projects from detail design to completion. This is an opportunity to join a vibrant young practice at a senior level and help shape its fast growth. Makower Architects is a design led studio working across all sectors from residential, commercial mixed-use developments to significant international urban masterplans and city-making strategies.
The right candidate will have:
- experience delivering large residential projects from Stage 3 to completion (with emphasis on detailing, coordination, tender and construction stages)
- residential detail design and construction experience a must
- thorough knowledge of building systems
- strong technical detailing a must (developing details within budget, whilst retaining design intent and quality)
- experience coordinating consultants and wider design team
- experience leading a team of architects
- experience dealing with contractors and sub-contractors
- experience with site inspections and site meetings
- strong problem solving skills and experience
- thorough knowledge of UK building regulations and planning
- thorough knowledge of building specifications, NBS a plus
- knowledge of different construction procurement routes
- knowledge of Autodesk Revit ideal, preferably on large scale projects
- knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites a plus
- fluent spoken and written English
