Business development manager
David Harber is looking for a business development manager based in London.
David Harber Ltd creates art pieces for interior, exterior and big spaces for high net worth individuals and diverse corporations both in the UK and internationally. The company sells a range of classic designs and is also commissioned to create entirely bespoke works for both private and corporate clients. Every piece is made to commission. The creative force behind the business is David Harber, who is also the MD.
David Harber Ltd is now looking for a designer relationship manager.
The role has been created to in order to raise David Harber’s creative profile amongst designers and specifiers in the UK and internationally through establishing long term personal relationships with targeted designers and other influencers. The end result of the relationships is to increase the frequency of the designers specifying David’s work and to firmly establish David’s creative credentials.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- to develop long term relationships with new designers and specifiers in the UK and internationally
- to increase relationship with targeted existing designers/specifiers on Salesforce, through regular contact and communication
- to build up a list of influencers, to maintain a close relationship with those people and get David in front of them
- to create opportunities for David to speak at influential events, important design practices and design schools
- to drive key designers and influencers to DH Events and exhibitions as means of deepening relationships
- to run Focus Groups internationally and to help coordinate meetings with targeted designers that sales team can visit
- to create more opportunities for collaborations with key players
- to continually be mindful of opportunities of raising the profile of David Harber and to feedback into the sales and marketing mix
Person profile:
- very sociable and charismatic person who enjoys networking
- confident ability to communicate at all levels and engage with stakeholders
- excellent verbal and written communication skills both face to face and on the telephone
- confident user of social media to facilitate use as tool to support relationship building process
- attention to detail, systematic and organised essential
- computer skills- Microsoft word and used to working with a CRM ideally Salesforce
- willing to make calls in the evenings and attend events
Job details:
Reporting to the sales and marketing director.
Four days a week with at least two days working at HQ in Oxfordshire, otherwise working remotely.
