Mid-senior level freelance retail interior designer
STAMP design is looking for a mid-senior level freelance retail interior designer to join its London office.
Initially to cover for a contract period with a view to a longer engagement.

The candidate must be able to translate direction from clients within their budget considerations and turn their brief into reality. They will be working with colleagues as well as independently from their own initiative. We are looking for someone who can interact with a variety of stages of the creative process, from concept, to production of detailed drawing packages, visuals, project coordination and on-site implementation.
About you
Relevant design qualifications: architecture, interior architecture, interior design or similar.
We would expect the successful candidate to be able to:
- manage your time to ensure design deliveries are met at all project stages
- work on projects of varying scales and at times, work across multiple projects
- be able to take direction, feedback and observations with a positive attitude
Key skills
- proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe suite – most notably Photoshop, In Design and Illustrator, Excel and word
- retail design experience working with a range of retailers in the store environment
- knowledge of construction techniques and detailing skills
- sound FF&E knowledge and be up to date with current design trends
- project management experience, including building control, planning, pre-site and on-site coordination and post build snagging and completion
- the ability to represent the office in meetings and presentations
- excellent communicative skills in English – other languages always a plus!
Experience
Minimum five years’ experience to include all aspects of handling a project from concept on paper to completion on site and in a client facing role.
