Interior designer
Atelier de Yavorsky is seeking an interior designer to join its growing practice based in Miami, USA.
Candidate will be working directly with the director/owner and another design team members.
Our ideal candidate will:
- have good project management skills to join our team in the design production
- be able to produce comprehensive sets of interior design drawings packages, including but not limited to floor plans, interior elevation sand sections, RCP, millwork built-in furniture, models, material research, furniture layout, FF&E, lighting, mood boards
- communicate with both internal team members and external team and consultants throughout project duration: owner representative, Architect of Record on design aspects to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and reflected within designs
- use project management tools to communicate with exterior team
- assist in the design development of custom pieces of furniture to be fabricated by specific manufacturers
- proper coordination of work with lighting designer and landscape designer into sheets
- live in Miami or be able to relocate immediately
- Have the paperwork to work in the U.S.
Experience and skills required:
- bachelor or master degree in interior design, architecture or related field
- three + years of experience in residential or hospitality
- proficient in Vectorworks, SketchUp or other 3D rendering program, AutoCAD is a plus
- be reliable, efficient, very organized and detail oriented
- language: fluent in English. French is a plus as well as Spanish
