Gustafson Porter + Bowman is hiring a BIM coordinator to join its practice in London.

Gustafson Porter + Bowman is an award-winning leading landscape architecture practice which has received public acclaim for creating authentically engaging and beautiful spaces in a global portfolio. The practice has an opening for an experienced and highly motivated Building Information Modelling (BIM) Coordinator to support BIM workflow on landscape design projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the production of efficient and integrated models, data and drawings that comply with practice standards.

We are looking for a confident team player with strong Revit experience of four+ years who is also Rhino, Navisworks and AutoCAD proficient, and is able to work across and assimilate these software programs. The role is a central one in the office, mentoring Revit users of all abilities and thereby facilitating the delivery of consistent quality and continuing the development and implementation of our BIM strategy. Gustafson Porter + Bowman are a friendly, sociable, hard-working and collaborative practice, and we would ideally like our new team member to join us in November 2019.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • ambition, talent and a desire to deliver and develop BIM strategy at Gustafson Porter + Bowman
  • four+ years’ experience of working on BIM-managed projects
  • excellent English language skills, both written and oral
  • strong design sensibility and the technical understanding of 3D geometry and detailing
  • high-level proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Navisworks and AutoCAD, and be able to coordinate between these software programs. Knowledge of Dynamo would also be preferred
  • demonstrable experience of delivering a landscape project to BIM Level 2 with validation and QA processes
  • familiarity with Common Data Environment practices
  • confidence liaising with other professionals, and experience of presenting during BIM Coordination and Clash Detection meetings
  • a team player approach, willing to mentor others, and to contribute to the learning outcomes of the whole practice
