An architecture practice in Oxford is looking for an experienced architect to join its team.
The practice is friendly, with a love for great design and low-energy architecture, especially sustainable design. The practice is searching for a design-orientated, highly-experienced architect with good job-running, detailing and technical design skills, as well as an interest and knowledge of sustainable design.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to run projects from inception to completion and take responsibility for the delivery of those projects. You will have the drive to help expand the practice in years to come.
Essential skills or experience:
- excellent design and detailing skills
- at least five years’ experience running domestic projects
- well-practised in preparing construction and tender packages
- in-depth knowledge of building regulations
- contract administration experience
- AutoCAD
- driving license
Desirable skills or experience:
- experience with green technologies
- experience with listed buildings
- SketchUp
- InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- car owner
