Part 3 residential architect

Black and Milk is seeking a freelance Part 3 residential architect to join its firm in London.

Black and Milk is a dynamic and growing design studio based in Hampstead. We specialise in the creation of modern interiors for modern homes and offer a turnkey service to private clients.
We pride ourselves on creative and functional designs, customer service and great attention to details. We are a friendly and dynamic bunch of people and the studio is led by a husband and wife team, Toly and Olga who respectively look after business management and design.
We are looking for an experienced and energetic freelance architect to work with us on residential renovation projects.
Responsibilities:
- participate in the sales process and help with winning new business
- be responsible for the design and specification of architectural part of projects and see projects through from start to finish at all RIBA stages
- prepare planning applications and design statements
- contract administration (JCT or other)
- work with the wider team to harmonise architecture, design and procurement workstreams
About you:
- RIBA Part 3, ARB-registered
- minimum of two years’ post-RIBA 3 in London in the residential sector
- good knowledge and understanding of London planning policies
- comprehensive knowledge of building regulations
- experience in all RIBA work stages
- proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite
- experience working listed properties would be beneficial
- working knowledge of Revit is a plus
- fluency in both written and spoken English
- this is a freelance position hence we are looking for someone with a flexible schedule
