Jo Malone London has an opportunity for a packaging designer to join our in house design studio. At Jo Malone London we strive to be the best in class and are looking for an extra team member to join us and help us realise and execute our vision. The successful candidate must be organised, have clear communication skills, be adept at multi-tasking and have the ability to work in a creative environment. He or she will be required to work on a variety of projects. The role would suit someone from either an agency-or client-side background. Jo Malone London is a creatively driven and proud of it.
The role
The candidate will join a small, dedicated team at the Jo Malone London global head office in our beautiful Georgian townhouse. The contract would initially be maternity cover for 9-12 months, reporting to the department director. Assisting with the execution of design work ranging from in-line packaging to limited life campaign primary and secondary pack.
This is a highly creative role and we are looking for someone with elegant and stylish taste as well as a keen eye for detail and good planning.
Experience in the perfume sector is advantageous but not essential, we are open-minded and keen to push the brand forward, the right candidate would be aligned with this and together we aim to produce market-leading creative.

- understanding creative process that leads to market-leading packaging design
- methodical approach to design as well as time management and organisation

- strong communicative and written English
Qualifications/experience:
- min five years’ experience
- creative design degree or relative experience
- full literacy in creative suite essential
- strong artistic direction
- illustration talent a bonus
- design for packaging and understanding of materials essential
- experience in the fragrance sector a plus
