Business development coordinator

Acrylicize is looking for a business development coordinator to become part of its team in Shoreditch, London.

We blend art, design and branding to create experiences that connect people with spaces. Our projects are defined by a devotion to craft and narrative and champion art’s enduring ability to tell powerful stories that connect us with our environments.
As a business development coordinator you will make a key contribution to our business development team, identifying and researching new sales leads and potential new markets, ultimately contributing to the overall growth of the studio. Making key connections and relationships with clients to help support the life cycle of the project.
You will be:
- researching new potential projects and sectors
- working closely with head of new business managing director to contribute to the overall commercial strategy for the studio
- contacting potential clients via email and by phone to build rapport and set up introductory meetings
- researching relevant industry and networking events
- developing quotes and proposals
- tracking opportunities through our CRM system
- account management
- working closely with the marketing team to realise marketing initiatives related to the sales strategy
You must have:
- ability to connect to a wide range of people across every walk of life
- confident and comfortable with public speaking
- willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve
- a hunger to constantly improve the studio’s output
- be passionate about art and design
- ability to think strategically and in a commercial manner
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- excellent team player attitude
- basic knowledge of Keynote and Excel
- InDesign would be advantageous but is not mandatory
