About you
This role is for a highly-skilled and creative mid/senior-weight interior designer to join our multidisciplinary interior design studio. You will be a proven all-rounder with experience in multi-sector projects.
We are looking for an individual with a passion for, and capability in, design detailing and delivery of projects on-site assisting and working in a creative role with other designers within the team. You’ll either already be leading projects, or ready to step into this role.

The role is based at our studio near Falmouth, the heart of Cornwall’s creative scene, where you would be working closely with colleagues across Hart Miller Design and our contract furniture brand MARK Product to deliver projects nationally.
Key skills required
In summary, the role is that of a mid/senior-weight interior designer, and includes all the aspects of the interior designer role that one would expect in a small growing practice. In terms of the fit within the team, there is an emphasis on the technical aspects of the role.
- minimum of five years’ experience across the workplace and hospitality sector
- highly skilled in the production of detailed design packages using AutoCAD including being confident on-site and in communications with contractors and project managers
- confident in creating concept presentations including sourcing FF&E with a view to presenting to and communicating with clients
- proven ability to prioritise, multi-task and organise workflow to meet concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- ability to work independently, with initiative, within a small, growing business
