Shalini Misra is seeking a middleweight interior designer at its design studio based in London.

Founded in 1996, the company has gone from strength to strength building a unique and successful business specialising in collaborations with high profile furniture designers, developing and designing commercial and residential property all around the world.
Overview
We are looking for a middleweight interior designer to develop interior design projects from concept through to implementation.
The position is for a qualified, experienced and creative well rounded interior designer with a proven track record of delivering high-end residential projects.
The ideal candidate will have some experience of running jobs and demonstrate a true understanding of all stages of the design process.
Role/responsibilities:
- assisting in the development of projects from conception to completion
- generating ideas and concept development
- detailing interior layouts
- producing technical drawings and tender packages
- FF&E work; including sourcing, dealing with suppliers, etc.
The ideal candidate must have:
- a minimum of five years’ professional experience in residential design
- BA (Hons) or MA interior design qualification (or equivalent)
- excellent presentation, conceptual and visualising skills
- proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite and SketchUp
- experience in FF&E including sourcing, procurement and installation
- on site experience
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to tight deadlines
- fluent in written and spoken English
- strong and confident client communication skills
