London, UK
Office administrator
Designcommand is hiring an office administrator to join its London-based team.
Founded in 2013, we are an award-winning interior design studio with projects in the restaurant & bar, luxury student hotel and boutique workspace sectors in the UK and internationally. We are passionate about design and each project we work on is unique. By exploring colour, shape, and form, we aim to capture the personality of each individual space we design.
As the office manager within our team, you are responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the studio. Your efforts directly enable the team to create and deliver our award-winning designs to clients.
Often serving as the company’s first point of contact via phone or email, your friendly yet professional manner and excellent communication skills embody our reputation of excellence. Day-to-day you undertake general office/administration tasks (travel booking, invoice filing, post, etc.) and you also assist with the administrative aspects of design projects as needed/able.
Furthermore, drawing on your experience you assess the evolving needs of the business, implementing processes and policies that benefit the studio and its staff. Working closely with the company director you undertake HR, finance and recruitment duties to drive the company’s growth and help shape its culture.
While an understanding of design studios/projects is beneficial, all candidates with suitable skills and an interest in design will be considered.
