Designer/architectural assistant
Giles Miller Studio is looking for a London-based designer/architectural assistant.
The designer/architectural assistant will work with our team on the modelling and visualisation of specific projects, on a freelance basis.
GMS is a London-based studio with an interest in the relationship between light and geometry, specifically within surface, sculptural and architectural design.
We are looking for a friendly proactive person with:
- experience, capability and interest in grasshopper for Rhino
- creative talent
- flexibility
- personal enthusiasm for our specific sector/output
- experience and capability in the visualisation of concepts through renders or illustrations
- ability to get to our studio in Deptford, London (SE8) with relative ease
Working with our studio will require a creative approach to algorithmic design under potential time-pressure. We inform our technical design process with creative thinking, but then often allow technical output to feed back into our conceptual offering. In this sense the role has the potential to be pivotal for those projects for which we require assistance.
