Hawkes is searching for a Part 2 or a recently qualified Part 3 to join its team in Kent, UK.
Hawkes Architecture is the only architectural practice in the UK to almost exclusively specialise in the design of Para 79 houses of exceptional quality and design. We have an enviable track record in obtaining consent for new houses in the open countryside. Passionate about sustainability, energy and driving architectural excellence forward, we are prepared to challenge anything!
In our small practice you will get exposure and responsibility in all stages of projects from conceptual design, planning documents and modelling to on site involvement and technical packages so you need to be able to think independently and proactively.
We are looking for someone with a high aptitude for creative design and practical problem-solving. Someone eager to learn new things with an inquisitive attitude towards architecture and the rich complexities of landscape. This is a position that offers great responsibility and invaluable experience in an enjoyable atmosphere, working on prestigious projects around the country.

- can articulate design ideas both practically and technically and can present solutions that drive projects forward.
- has excellent visualisation skills developing schemes and images through software and model making.
- can produce and develop accurate, effective, detailed documents.
- is inventive and energetic.
- is self-motivated, organised and adaptable.
Fluency in English is vital and experience working in the UK desirable.
Full Driving licence is essential.
Salary based on capability/experience.
