Sean Harrington Architects is looking for an architect with over five years experience to join its team in Dublin.
We are a design-based and multi-award winning practice, including the international award for the world’s most friendly and inclusive space 2017 from the UIA.
The successful candidate must have strong design skills, technical experience and familiarity with construction contracts in addition to excellent communication skills. They will have a high level of responsibility in developing a wide variety of projects with our team including residential, school, visitor centre, public realm and bridge projects.
We are a busy, energetic and friendly practice, and share a large open plan loft-style studio with photographers, graphic designers, book designers, theatre designers, and sustainability consultants. We encourage CPD including skills training and mentoring for all staff.

Job requirements:
- preferably a knowledge of Irish building regulations and statutory compliance procedures, including BCAR
- experience of delivering projects within a team environment.
- proficiency in Vectorworks 3D and/or BIM preferred. (or willingness to learn!)
- will have a minimum of five years post qualification relevant experience and be a registered architect, or be eligible to be registered
- experience in managing and running projects through all work stages to completion
- strong technical knowledge and detailing skills
- construction site experience would be an advantage
- available to start immediately would be an advantage
