The opportunity
We are looking for a highly Revit proficient architectural technician/detailer to join our site-based team in Solihull, delivering one our flagship projects for 2020/21.
The role will be an initial 12-month fixed term contract, which could be made permanent at the end of the project if the individual really impresses and integrates successfully into the Oktra North team.
You will need strong skills in BIM360 and Revit and experience working on commercial office interior projects. Reporting to the design manager, this is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of the project team based on the client campus.
Working within the team you will:
- prepare and coordinate production and construction package information
- Revit technical output at each project stage
- support the design team on site
Required skills and attributes:
- highly proficient in Revit and BIM360 softwares
- a good working knowledge of construction methods and UK building regulations
- a high level of technical skill with attention to detail
- able to take the initiative to solve technical issues
- keen to work in a team environment, but also happy to work independently
- dynamic, flexible and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- excellent verbal and written communication skills, with some client contact
