London, UK
Part 2 architectural assistant/recently qualified Part 3 architect
at Goldstein Heather Architecture
Goldstein Heather Architecture is seeking a Part 2 architectural assistant/recently qualified Part 3 architect to join its studio in London.
We are looking for a Part 2 or recently qualified Part 3 to join our busy and growing studio. You should have at least one year of post-Part 2 experience in practice working in a UK architectural studio noted for design quality. As well as this you should have an exceptional portfolio, demonstrating presentational clarity and rigour in your drawn and written work. We are looking for someone with total command of a 2D CAD software, ideally MicroStation, which we use in our studio. You should also demonstrate proficiency in SketchUp and V-Ray and have a real talent for post-production editing. We want someone with the self-discipline to work on a variety of projects simultaneously, all the while retaining a grip on detail and effectively managing their time. You should have a working understanding of the UK planning system, and have project experience between RIBA Stages 0 and 3. Some RIBA Stage 4 plus experience would be a bonus.
We are a growing studio with a range of stimulating work, including new-build projects and renovations, extensions and additions to buildings in sensitive contexts, and from small scale domestic to larger scale residential and commercial work. However, whatever the project type, we always place high quality design at the forefront of our activity.
