RIBA Part-II architectural assistant
at IDOM
IDOM is looking for a RIBA Part-II architectural assistant to join its London team.
We are an international multidisciplinary architectural and engineering company with a network of offices in the UK. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed RIBA Part-II or equivalent architectural assistant to join our London-based architectural team. Candidates should have at least one years’ previous experience working in other practices on projects from concept to detail design and construction stages of projects, ideally with experience in the transport (aviation/rail) and/or commercial sectors (new build offices and fit out). Candidates should also have a strong design and creative approach to architectural design.
Good knowledge of UK building regulations is essential, and some site/contract management experience would be useful. Candidates should be proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe packages and Rhino while some Revit experience would also be beneficial.
The ideal candidate will have an opportunity to take a prominent role in our projects, liaising with clients, dealing with contractors etc. Other duties will also be to assist in competitions, and other bidding documents including collaborating with colleagues in our international offices.
Candidates should be fluent in both spoken and written English, and will be required to bring a flexible and committed approach to the job.
