Centerbrook Architects and Planners is looking for a public relations and marketing coordinator to join its team in Centerbrook, USA.
Centerbrook Architects and Planners, a nationally recognised architecture firm located in Centerbrook, Connecticut, seeks candidates for a new position: public relations and marketing coordinator.
The successful candidate will support Centerbrook’s marketing and public relations activities. They will join a small and tight-knit department, initially blending in-person and remote work before joining the firm’s historic riverfront mill complex full-time when public health protocols allow.
Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to:
- placing architectural projects in industry and lifestyle publications
- tracking and coordinating entries into regional and national design award programs
- developing printed and digital proposals and qualifications brochures
- gathering materials for future monographs
- supporting a vibrant social media presence
- maintaining website content
- managing project image and marketing archives
The ideal applicant will have a keen aesthetic sensibility, a strong work ethic, a sense of humour, and the ability to juggle multiple and disparate tasks. Three to five years’ experience in the architecture/engineering/construction industry is preferred but not required. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; possess strong writing and verbal communications skills; be detail-oriented and fastidious; and be facile with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Powerpoint. The capacity to flourish in a fast-paced and collegial environment, an inquisitive mind, and an eye for design are all attributes that augur success.
