MAA Architects is looking for a Part 1 architectural assistant/placement to join its London studio.
MAA Architects is a design-led practice based at the multi-disciplinary Boathouse Design Studio, on the banks of the River Thames at Teddington Lock.
We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Part 1 architectural assistant/placement to work on a variety of exciting new projects from RIBA stages one to six. We use Bentley Openbuildings Designer and knowledge of this software is desirable, although full training will be given. Our collaborative environment encourages the further development of excellent hand drawing and presentation skills. The successful applicant will work well under pressure and bring their unique talents to the team.
MAA is a social, integrated practice and we are seeking a grounded and involved individual who is excited by the prospect of working and creating in a team-led environment. The successful candidate will be working closely with the project architects and associates on a variety of schemes, and will be given the opportunity to develop and hone both their design and technical skills.

MAA have an agile working policy in place, and the team is currently working remotely and in the studio. We are operating a rota system for staff to work from the office, with a gradual return to working full time from the Boathouse as the restrictions ease. The successful applicant may be given the opportunity to work from home following the completion of requisite training and onboarding.
