Intermediate/senior product designer
at Rainlight
Rainlight seeks an intermediate to senior product designer to join its London studio on a full-time basis.
Rainlight is a product design studio with client collaborations across America, Europe, and Asia.
We are looking for passionate and skilled product designers with experience in all phases of product development. The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of proficiency in CAD modelling with finesse in detailing and a good sense of form, knowledge of manufacturing principles to be involved in all aspects of design development, and the capacity for skilled visualisation and presentation.
The candidate will work directly with Yorgo Lykouria and have the opportunity to collaborate with architects, interior designers, manufacturers, and clients, which will require good communication and teamwork.
Requirements
Degree in industrial design, product design, or related field plus seven years’ experience in industrial design. Skills must include 2D and 3D visualisation; hand and digital sketching; High-Level proficiency in Rhino (required) and/or Solidworks; Keyshot; prototyping and model making; user-centred design research and practices.
