Mid/senior-level architect or architectural designer
at BDG Architecture + Design
BDG Architecture + Design is seeking a highly motivated mid to senior-level architect or architectural designer to work on commercial and workplace design projects in Latin America from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The successful candidate will demonstrate fluent Portuguese language to presentation level, eligibility to work in Brazil and be a competent REVIT user.

Position responsibilities:
- developing and delivering design projects from concept design to detail design stages.
- design programming, project resourcing and design team management as lead design consultant.
- design coordination with external consultants.
- presentations to client teams.
- working seamlessly with our strategy team to ensure client brief and requirements are met.
- working closely with our local delivery partners to develop detail, bidding and construction design and monitor delivery on site.
- design reviews with senior team members
Position will suit someone who is:
- comfortable in a fast-paced and collaborative environment with changing priorities
- self-starter ability to learn quickly and demonstrate willingness to take on new responsibilities
- ability to work in multi-disciplinary studio and with distributed teams
Required qualifications:
- architectural qualification or similar level of design experience
- five plus years of related experience in an interior designer/architect position
- competent REVIT user
- strong graphic skills with experience of Adobe Creative Suite
- proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English and Portuguese – including presentation ability. Spanish language an advantage
- prior experience designing and delivering commercial offices or commercial/corporate architecture
