L+ Architects is seeking a project architect Part 2 with two years plus experience strong concept/technical and keen team player to join the team in London.
L+ Architects is looking to recruit a dynamic Part 2 working towards their Part 3 project architect/with fluent written and spoken English and solid experience in the UK. This job would be to work in their studio in southwest London in East Sheen and would vary from high-end residential to commercial.
L+ Architects is a small, agile, design-led studio working on both residential and commercial architecture. For this role we are looking for an outward personality to meet clients face to face and by zoom/by phone, to help with the day to day running of the studio with social media and the website and to write articles (blogs) based on new research of ideas and methodologies in our sector.
We are RIBA registered and follow the RIBA stages. We specialise in biophilic design and sustainability, MMC and conservation architecture.
We are seeking an individual with a strong eye for design and excellent technical abilities who can run a series of projects from inception to completion. L+ Architects has a strong philosophy and brand, and we would like the candidate to always act as an ambassador to our brand as well as translating this passionately via marketing channels.
The practice offers flexible hours, a chance to get your teeth into and own a project with design from inception to delivery as well as being a client-facing role.
Applicants should:
- be outgoing, creative and a blue-sky thinker
- be competent in BIM 360, AutoCAD and moving between other software
- be familiar with UK building regulations and have some experience of both historic and new buildings
- have at least two years’ experience in a UK architecture practice
- be willing to work to deadlines
- fluent English written and spoken
